AS YOUR STATE REPRESENTATIVE, I AM COMMITTED TO REPRESENTING ALL OF HAMPSTEAD, PROTECTING OUR RESOURCES AND TACKLING THE ISSUES THAT ARE MOST IMPORTANT TO OUR FAMILIES.

Public Education

Our family chose Hampstead for our home because it offered our family so much. Most importantly, we could see immediately that Hampstead prioritizes education, offering excellent schools and dedicated professionals teaching our children. Our public schools are more than a place where kids take tests. They are part of what ties our communities together and shapes our children’s lives

NH public schools are some of the best in the country - investing in them means investing in our future, in our kids. The current voucher scheme will increase our property taxes and ending it will be my first priority in Concord. Our local tax dollars cannot be funneled to out of state vendors or religious schools, who don’t have to play by the same rules.

We need to take an honest look at our state’s revenue problems. We must protect local property taxpayers AND support our cities and towns in educating our children, our most precious resource. We must protect the fundamental promise of quality public education for all students, regardless of race, religion, or disability.

Reproductive Freedom

The decision of when and if to become a parent is one of the most important many of us will make in life. We are not truly free unless we can control our own bodies, lives and futures.. We all must be able to make the best healthcare decisions for ourselves and our families.

I am committed to protecting access to quality reproductive healthcare in New Hampshire- including abortion care.  We must ensure that people, not politicians, have the freedom to decide whether or when they should become a parent.

Property Taxes/Economy

We know that NH works best when we all work together.  Our property taxes fuel our communities - public schools, our fire and police departments, our roads and bridges - it all depend on us.  But we can’t do it alone. New Hampshire has been struggling with education funding for decades, relying too heavily on local property taxes and repeatedly reducing the state contributions that would help all communities to balance our needs.

We need to take an honest look at our state’s revenue problem. We must protect local property taxpayers AND support our cities and towns in educating our children and meeting the needs of our communities.

I will prioritize looking at all revenue solutions, including legalizing recreational marijuana use.

Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. – Malcolm X
